Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. This position is within a very busy Emergency Department, primarily focusing on boarder patients which may include medical/surgical, stepdown, and ICU care. Candidates may be required to float to an acute unit as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions in various care settings, including boarder patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to acute care units as needed to support patient care needs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar sized Level 1 Trauma facility.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- TNCC certification is required.
- Valid RN license.
