CT Technologist - Radiology Department

Schedule

Mid 5x8-Hour shift (15:00 - 23:00) from Monday to Wednesday with rotating Saturday/Sunday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will support the Radiology department by performing high-quality CT scans using Siemens scanners. The role requires proficiency in handling various types of imaging procedures and working effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans with proficiency in Siemens GoTop (ER) and Siemens Somatom Definition (Main).
• Ensure proper preparation and administration of contrast media.
• Execute advanced imaging techniques, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT CT certification and BLS certification are required.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred, with travel experience required.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system is necessary.
• Experience with a variety of CT procedures such as brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and venipuncture is beneficial.
