Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in hospital-based, acute care settings to join our rehabilitation services team. The successful candidate will assist in providing high-quality care to adult patients with various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating patients’ conditions and implementing treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy interventions for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using the facility's charting system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to promote independence and recovery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active PTA license.
- BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital-based, acute care settings.
