Job Description
The CT Technologist will perform a variety of imaging studies using Computed Tomography (CT) scanning equipment. The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct basic CT scans including Head, Chest, Abdomen, Extremities.
- Assist in Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Perfusion imaging.
- Maintain high standards of image quality while following safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
- Start IVs when necessary for imaging procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) verification.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) verification.
- Experience with Toshiba/Canon CT scanners is highly preferred.
- Must have previous experience performing imaging studies in an acute care setting.
