Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will serve in the acute care OT department, providing support to acute care patients through physician orders within the hospital. Responsibilities will include working with a diverse range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological cases, orthopedics, and general debility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and rehabilitation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 15-18 months of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in the acute care setting
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia
- Familiarity with One Chart - Cerner system is preferred
