Schedule
This position is for 3x12-hour day shifts, from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
- Perform extubation, nasal airway placement, and suctioning.
- Manage tracheostomy care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Must hold BLS and RRT certifications.
- First-time travelers are accepted; locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible.
