Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Step Down Telemetry Unit. This position requires the ability to deliver high-quality patient care through effective medication administration, assessments, and care planning. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Conduct thorough assessments and create detailed care plans
- Provide support to patients at a 3:1 ratio in step down and a 5:1 ratio during day shift and a 6:1 ratio during night shift
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Utilize teamwork to ensure comprehensive care delivery
Schedule
This position is scheduled from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM. Flexibility and willingness to work nights and weekends are essential.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license as per state regulations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in telemetry or step down units preferred
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in patient care technologies and assistive devices
