This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, with a late shift required once a week from 07:30 to 18:00. No on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in GI procedures and simple Bronchoscopy procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care in an endoscopy setting, ensuring patient safety, and supporting procedures while working as part of a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and monitor patient responses during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.
- Assist in endoscopic evaluations and interventions.
- Provide pre and post-procedure patient education and support.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including Respiratory Services and Social Services.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active BLS certification.
- Valid PA or Compact RN license in hand.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in GI procedures and simple Bronchoscopy.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
