Job Description
Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a travel contract in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic. This position will focus on a primarily musculoskeletal patient population, with a significant emphasis on post-operative care.
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for orthopedic and post-operative patients.
- Conduct hands-on treatment with a strong focus on outpatient orthopedic care.
- Administer wound care for post-operative patients as needed.
- Fabricate and modify splints as part of patient treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic/MSK settings is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with post-operative rehabilitation.
- Experience with splint fabrication and modification is required.
- Wound care experience is preferred.
- CHT certification is preferred, but not required.
