Schedule
W-F 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. with 5-6 call shifts per month. Call options for this shift are 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. M-Th or 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Sunday night.
Job Description
The Operating Room Nurse will provide patient care in the operating room, particularly in orthopedics, neuro/spine, and trauma cases. The nurse will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgeries involving neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma, total joints, and robotic procedures.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other operating room staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in the operating room.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- Experience in orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, and trauma preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
