Schedule

This position is a 5x8 hourly shift:

• Monday/Wednesday: 10 AM - 7 PM (includes 1-hour lunch)
• Tuesday/Thursday: 7 AM - 3:30 PM (includes 30-minute lunch)

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on the patient’s needs, goals, and physician direction. They are responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community re-engagement.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on patient discharge goals.
• Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Provide a positive learning environment for students through appropriate supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and apply acquired knowledge to meet the organization’s objectives.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School
• 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience (New Grads are welcome)
• Active and valid Physical Therapist license for the State of practice
• CPR Certification

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
