Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide care for adult patients in a clinical oncology setting, administering chemotherapy and other treatments as necessary. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, ensuring safety protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and manage central line and implanted line care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of Oncology-specific experience.
- Current RN license (NC or compact) required by start date.
- BCLS Certification.
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card is a must.
- OCN certification preferred.
