Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Acute Care

Schedule

This is a flexible position requiring 36-40 hours per week, including some weekends. The work schedule will be split between two facilities, typically involving three days at one facility and two days at the other. One weekend day will be included, but the schedule is flexible.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide inpatient acute care, focusing on the evaluation and treatment of patients with various conditions. This role is essential in facilitating patient recovery and rehabilitation, utilizing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients’ needs and functional abilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Applicants must possess a valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience in an inpatient acute care setting is preferred. Successful candidates will also need to pass an Epic test prior to the start date.
