Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to join our Med Surg Telemetry unit. This role involves providing exceptional care for patients following surgical procedures, with a focus on post-operative recovery in a telemetry setting. Our ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring patient satisfaction through attentive care and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions post-surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, hospitalists, and therapists.
• Perform daily patient rounding to enhance care satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and patient care standards.
• Facilitate effective communication and connection with patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a Med Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
