Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC)

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts of 12 hours: 7A-7P / 7P-7A with a day/night rotation. Candidates will work either 36 or 48 hours per week and will not be scheduled for multiple shift types within the same week. A minimum of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend is required, along with at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly and Alternate Level of Care Unit, which has a total of 36 beds. The role involves administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
