The shifts available are 4x10-hour (08:00 - 18:30) or 5x8-hour (08:00 - 16:30), with guaranteed hours of 36.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab environment. This role requires expertise in handling various cardiac procedures and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations on adult patients.
- Monitor and manage procedural sedation and patient vitals during procedures.
- Administer Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Current NY State Nursing License.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations.
