Registered Nurse - Mid 3x12-Hour Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Call is required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment, caring for both neonate and adult patients. This role will require effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams as well as providing education to patients and families.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Provide patient education and emotional support.
Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
Participate in continued quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant nursing role.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Epic experience is mandatory.
Experience in caring for labor and delivery patients is preferred.
COVID-19 vaccination is required; exemptions may be allowed.
