Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.

Responsibilities

Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and/or responses to treatment.
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
Adhere to EMTALA regulations and report child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current and valid state RN License.
BLS Certification.
ACLS Certification.
PALS Certification.
NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred.
COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
BVP (MAB) training.
