Schedule
The position offers a flexible schedule of either 36 hours per week on a day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) or four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM). A rotating call schedule is included, with both weekday and weekend responsibilities, aligned with general staff rotation. Holiday call rotation may also be required.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with operating room experience to join our team. The selected candidate will provide patient care in the operating room, collaborate with surgical teams, and ensure high standards of patient safety and comfort. This role may also require floating to Genesis surgery centers as needed and adapting to changes in patient census and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the operating room.
- Assist with surgical procedures and collaborate with surgical teams.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room experience.
- Experience in Robotic, Neuro, and Ortho surgeries preferred.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR is a must.
