This is a night shift position, offering 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a contract position. The ideal candidate must be willing to float between units as directed by management based on skillset and patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Facilitate patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current New York State RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
- BLS Certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to stay beyond the initial contract duration, subject to managerial discretion.
