8-hour day shifts, with a guarantee of 36 hours and an expectation to work up to 40 hours weekly.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have an outpatient experience, ready to provide care for patients in an orthopedic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in appropriate settings as part of the rehabilitation team.
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress towards recovery goals.
- Assist in conducting evaluations and assessments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Manage a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, with 12-14 patients seen per day.
- Expect double-booking of follow-up visits as part of the workflow.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
- Outpatient experience preferred.
- New graduates are not accepted for this position.
