Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MS Step-down Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a step-down unit. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry experience and be capable of managing a patient ratio of 6:1.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1-2 years of step-down or telemetry nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Active RN license.
