Schedule
Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) shifts available. Rotating shifts may be required based on operational needs.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting and will be able to float to different units as needed. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work flexibly under changing conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.
- Float to designated units as necessary, while maintaining care standards.
- Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
- Recent travel experience will count towards the requirement.
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
- Current certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- One supervisory reference in the specialty area is required.
