Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with a strong background in a hospital setting to operate both CT and X-ray imaging equipment. The ideal candidate is expected to work independently and manage both modalities effectively, often with single staff coverage.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures with acute care patients.
- Ensure high-quality images are produced for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort while performing imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure positive patient experiences.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Virginia state licensure or compact licensure required at the time of submission.
- Must hold ARRT and ARRT-CT certifications.
- CPR certification is also required.
