This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. Holiday rotation and weekend coverage required every other weekend.
Job Description
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and modify care plans as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
