Job Description

The Travel Behavioral Health RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a 44-bed inpatient psychiatric facility. This position requires experience in inpatient adolescent psychiatric care (ages 14-17) and the ability to float between adolescent and geriatric behavioral health units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to patients.
• Assist in the implementation of nursing department standards and goals.
• Monitor and manage care plans for adolescent patients.
• Supervise and orient new staff members.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with multidisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Inpatient adolescent psychiatric experience required.
• De-escalation training/certification is required; SAFE Training Course can be attended onsite if necessary.
