Job Description
The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the cardiac catheterization lab, including monitoring patients, assisting with procedures, and providing support to the medical team. Ideal candidates will have experience in the Cath Lab and a strong understanding of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration and specimen collection.
- Document patient care given, monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and nutrition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, transfer, and discharge planning.
- Provide education to patients and families appropriate to their needs.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
