Job Description

The Physical Therapist will implement patient rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, function, and strength for patients. The role includes direct patient care, evaluations, treatment, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
• Guide and monitor patient care throughout treatment and follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and support staff to ensure quality care.
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions and authorizations.
• Ensure patient comfort and address inquiries as needed.
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes as necessary.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Must hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of California or plan to test soon.
• Continuing Education courses are preferred.
