This is a 13-week contract position, primarily working 12-hour night shifts from 18:30 to 07:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist with strong experience in inpatient care to join our team. This role is critical in providing diagnostic imaging services, primarily within a trauma II medical center and comprehensive stroke center. The chosen candidate will be responsible for conducting CT procedures and supporting the care of patients presenting with trauma, strokes, and other injuries.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures, including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, and musculoskeletal examinations.
• Support the emergency department by providing imaging for trauma and stroke evaluations.
• Collaborate with medical staff and follow established protocols for patient care.
• Accurately document all procedures and patient information using the EPIC and Synapse-Fuji systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, with a maximum of two 12-hour shifts per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an inpatient setting.
• ARRT certification and advanced certification in CT.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment is required.
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies and drainage is preferred.
• Ability to start IVs and perform phlebotomy is a plus.
