Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg unit. This role requires a professional who is capable of providing high-quality care to our adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Meditech systems and have experience in surgical interventions and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and manage nursing interventions for patients on the Med Surg unit.
Monitor patient vitals and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and perform treatments as per physician orders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and medication information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med Surg unit is preferred.
Experience with Meditech is preferred.
