This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide full-scope LDRP care in a high-acuity, low-volume setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn nursery processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor high-risk labor cases, fetal heart rate interpretation, and C-section circulation.
- Provide immediate newborn stabilization and participate in neonatal resuscitation.
- Conduct routine newborn assessments and manage postpartum/couplet care for stable mothers and infants.
- Transition between labor, nursery, and couplet assignments based on census and staffing needs.
- Administer Pitocin titration and manage intrapartum patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
- NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in LDRP settings.
- Ability to circulate C-sections and effectively manage high-risk labor.
- Experience in rural hospital settings is preferred.
