Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36. Weekend shifts also required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role involves working in various settings including Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency Rooms (ER), and Nurseries, providing high-quality respiratory therapy to patients ranging from newborns to adults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to handle diverse patient needs, particularly in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the ICU, ER, and NICU.
• Administer intubation and mechanical ventilation to pediatric patients.
• Participate in the resuscitation team during high-risk deliveries.
• Utilize and maintain proficiency with equipment including Drager V500, Hamilton T-1 ventilators, Neo Puff, and EPIC documentation system.
• Deliver care as the sole RT on shift, with a focus on sharp assessment skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in related settings, particularly with pediatric patients.
• Experience working in a nursery and participating in resuscitation teams.
• Ability to float between facilities as required.
