Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide high-risk obstetric care, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns. The nurse will be an integral part of a highly skilled team, performing a variety of critical procedures and monitoring patients closely.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients in Labor and Delivery and the OBED.
- Administer magnesium and insulin drips as necessary.
- Monitor fetal health and maternal wellbeing using intermediate fetal monitoring.
- Participate in scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 1 year of travel experience in high-risk obstetrics.
- Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
- Experience in OBED and high-risk/high-volume settings is preferred.
