Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, orthopedics, and neurosurgery. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting surgical teams during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and provide direct patient care in the Operating Room.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during surgery.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in training and mentoring of new staff and students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of direct RN OR experience required, with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurosurgery experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Must obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month.
• Must be nicotine-free; negative drug screen required.
