Schedule

Shifts are Tuesday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with possible variations based on need. Candidates should be flexible with potential call requirements and weekend shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in the Operating Room, collaborating with a team of surgeons, surgical techs, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-operative care and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to establish patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of OR experience required.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, and neuro surgery is necessary.
• For CVOR positions, a minimum of two years of CVOR experience is required, including all adult open-heart cases.
• Candidates with trauma and vascular surgery experience are preferred.
