Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves patient management across all phases of interventional procedures, including pre, intra, and post-operative care. The candidate will collaborate with physicians to develop care plans, manage IV insertions, and perform CT preparation for scheduled patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and charting using the Radiology Flowsheet.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care and changes in disposition.
• Perform IV insertions and CT preps for both pediatrics and adults.
• Facilitate a variety of interventional procedures including biopsies, vascular interventions, and pain management injections.
• Ensure patient safety and monitoring throughout all phases of the procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Must be proficient in IV starts.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS certification required, pediatric experience not necessary).
• Critical care experience is a plus.
