Job Description
Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical team at a Level 2 Trauma Center. The candidate will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries. Robotic and ENT experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
- Circulate and scrub various surgical cases.
- Assist with surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
- Documentation of scrub and circulate skills checklist is necessary.
- Experience with robotic surgery and a variety of specialties is essential.
