Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Telemetry/PCU

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse in a mixed Medical Surgical Telemetry/PCU unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, ensuring adherence to protocols, and monitoring patient conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient mobility and overall comfort.
• Perform nursing procedures such as IV management and wound care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient care in the Cerner charting system accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry/PCU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Valid PA or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
