8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM; includes weekday and weekend call rotation, as well as holiday call rotation as needed.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Circulate surgical cases across various specialties including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, and more.
• Manage patient care pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively.
• Participate in the set-up and operation of robotics equipment during surgeries.
• Respond to emergency situations in the operating room as they arise.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of experience in the operating room specialty required.
• Must have experience passing instruments in and out for robotics surgeries.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS; PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatory.
