Travel RN - Med Surg

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (6 PM - 6 AM), with flexible scheduling. Weekend rotation or blocks required.

Job Description

As a Travel RN in Med Surg, you will provide essential patient care and support in a medical-surgical unit. Your responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and care processes.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active FL state or multistate RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• ACLS and NIHSS certification required.
