Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute hospital nursing and the ability to float within the hospital as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Med Surg unit.
- Adhere to established protocols and policies during patient care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid NY State RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years acute hospital nursing experience.
- Prior travel experience is preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
- Flu vaccine is required; valid medical or religious exemptions must be submitted prior to start.
