Cardiac OR RNFA - 36 or 48 Hours/Week

Job Description

The Cardiac OR RNFA is responsible for assisting with chest exposure and closing, as well as independently performing vein harvesting for CABGs. Preferred qualifications include experience in first assisting in DaVinci robotic cases and the capability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, including CABGs, structural heart cases (e.g., Bentall), minimally invasive procedures, and heart failure cases such as Impella. Experience in heart transplant procedures is preferred.

Schedule

The position primarily requires working weekdays from 7 AM to 7 PM and 11 AM to 11 PM, with on-call responsibilities as needed by the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current NYS RN license
• CNOR certification
• Telemetry experience
