Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a compassionate professional who excels in providing Level 3 care to neonates and is adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Schedule
This position offers a flexible schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, including weekend requirements every third week or more, depending on willingness. Holiday coverage is also required every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level care to neonates, including CPAP and ventilator management.
- Administer UVC lines and support labor and delivery when necessary.
- Deliver strong developmental care to infants.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical and speech therapists.
- Adapt to a fluctuating patient census with the potential to care for pediatric or maternity patients if needed.
Required Experience & Certifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU environment.
- Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
