This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shifts available are 3 - 12 hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM) with on-call requirements. The schedule includes rotation on weekends and weeknights, averaging 3 on-call shifts over six weeks.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality critical care and PACU nursing services. The role includes pre-operative care from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM and post-operative care from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Nurses may be required to float to other areas, including Tabor GI or the pain center, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to patients, including adults and pediatrics.
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, incorporating interdisciplinary support as needed.
- Manage on-call duties as scheduled, including weekends and weeknights.
- Ensure compliance with trauma care protocols and procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or PACU nursing.
- Experience in Level I Trauma care, with a background in ICU preferred.
- Certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS required prior to start.
- Current RN license valid in the state of practice.
