This position requires 10-hour day shifts with weekend and evening/night call responsibilities. Must be available for call with a 30-minute response time.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will serve as a circulator in the Operating Room, providing patient care before, during, and after surgery. The role involves scrubbing for procedures as required and collaborating with surgical teams across various specialties.
Responsibilities
- Circulate in the Operating Room for procedures including general surgery, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, and plastic surgery.
- Scrub for various surgical cases as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care.
- Assist in the coordination and prioritization of patient care in the surgical environment.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN circulator preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Must maintain an active RN license.
