Description
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality cross-sectional scans to create 3-dimensional images for Radiologists' interpretation. The ideal candidate will consistently obtain excellent imaging quality, maintain safety within MRI zones, and document patient care services accurately.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanner to produce detailed cross-sectional scans.
- Consistently obtain high-quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain a general understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its functionality.
- Ensure safety protocols within MRI zones are upheld.
- Document patient care services in hospital records accurately.
- Interact compassionately and effectively with patients who are sick or injured.
- Support and promote the values and mission of the organization.
- Engage in courteous interactions with co-workers and peers.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Education: Associate's Degree Required
- Licensure: ARRT certified in Radiography and State of Maine Radiography License required.
- Certification: ARRT MRI certification preferred.

This is a full-time Day Shift position.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
