Orthopedic Unit RN

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a specialized orthopedic unit. The unit focuses on orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. Nurses will join a department renowned for research and innovation and will benefit from numerous opportunities for education and professional growth. The team is enthusiastic and fosters a fun work environment.

Schedule

Rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties, are required based on unit needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license (New York only)
• Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant nursing role
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in telemetry required
• Orthopedic experience is mandatory
