Schedule
This position involves full-time, 36 hours per week, with shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. There may be requests for variable shifts based on patient census and holiday coverage.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist who will provide high-quality imaging services to patients across various demographics, including geriatric and pediatric populations. The successful candidate will ensure patient safety and comfort while conducting magnetic resonance imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures, including protocol development and screening patients for contraindications.
- Educate patients about MRI procedures, addressing their concerns with tact and professionalism.
- Monitor patients continuously, both visually and verbally, ensuring their safety during procedures.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients and co-workers.
- Operate essential equipment necessary for patient care and report on equipment status.
- Assist in monitoring inventory and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Associates Degree or Certificate from a two-year college or accredited program.
- ARRT registration is required.
- BCLS certification obtained within four months of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Must be Influenza vaccinated as required by the state, unless a medical exemption is provided and approved.
