Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Every other weekend and holiday required.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN to provide high-quality nursing care in a team-oriented environment. This role requires proficient knowledge in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and effective communication within a care team including LPNs and PCAs.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for a maximum of 8 patients as part of a team nursing model.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively.
- Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as necessary.
- Manage peripheral line care and oxygen administration.
- Maintain isolation precautions and infection control measures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN within the past year.
- Valid NY State RN License.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Experience with charting systems is required.
