Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift position in our MedSurg unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both post-surgical and general med-surg settings. Candidates should be comfortable managing a diverse patient population, including both 'clean' and 'dirty' patients, and should have experience with various medical conditions and treatments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize remote telemonitoring for patients as needed.
- Manage patient assignments and coordinate with nursing aides during assigned shifts.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.
- Comfortable caring for both clean and dirty patients, including those requiring isolation.
